Articulating Arms |
Articulating arms use a parallelogram structure that articulates at the vertical planes. This design allows vertical positioning of a fixture or end effector. Knight Industries offers a wide range of arms types, capacities and configurations to handle many types of end tooling.
Articulating arms are used to lift, rotate, balance, move and install product from conveyors, dunnage, assembly lines and more. |

Extension Arms |
Knight extension arms allow for overhead extended non-linear reach within a specified work cell which allows for the expanion of the typical work area.
An Extension arm also enables the operator to extend beyond the working limits of a rail system. A Knight Air Balancer or Servo Hoist mounts to the arm which lifts and lowers the load.
Maximum lift capacity up to 700 lbs ( Air Balancer model)
Maximum lift capacity up to 1,000 lbs (Servo Hoist model) |

• Available in single or dual bridge configurations ( Balancer/ Servo models) • Pedestal mounted (Servo Hoist model) |

Vertical Arms |
Knight Vertical Arms allow for end tooling to be moved to a rigid vertical beam. Vertical travel is achieved with a Knight Air Balancer, Servo Hoist, Air/ Hydraulic cylinder or Chain Hoist. Typically used in applications that require extensive UP/DOWN travel. Vertical arms improve ergonomics by eliminating the need for the operator to bend or reach for control handles. The control handles are in a fixed ergonomic positon on the mast.

• Maximum lift capacity up to 700 lbs (Air Balancer model)
• Maximum lift capacity up to 1,000 lbs (Servo model) • Maximum lift capacity with a Air/ Hydraulic cylinders or Chain Hoists vary upon application. |

Servo Arms |
Knight Servo Arms incorporate Knight Servo Hoist Systems "Intelligent Assist Devices" (IAD) that are mounted in various configurations to provide controlled transfers of workloads for every situation.
Servo arms allow the operator to reach outside the area directly beneath the rail or within in specified work cell.
Knight Servo arms come in configurations of Articulating Arms, Extension Arms and Vertical Arms. They can also be mounted to a single bridge, rotating carriage, overhead carriage or a floor mounted pedestal. • Maximum lift capacity up 2,000 lbs • Maximum travel speeds up to 200' fpm |
