Company Background

Knight Industries began in 1984 as a specialty design and build shop, solving specific manufacturing problems for the automotive industry in Detroit. As specialty systems became standards for Knight, we evolved into designing and replacing original material handling systems with ergonomic solutions. We have grown from three employees and 4,000 square feet of floor space in 1984 to over 190 employees and 150,000 square feet of floor space today. Our headquarters are located in Auburn Hills, MI.

As a major global supplier of ergonomic equipment, Knight accommodates consumer requests for state-of-the-art technology. Clients include a diverse group of industries: automotive, aviation, military, food and beverage, construction, and entertainment firms.

Knight's expertise transforms manufacturing concepts into load-responsive handling devices providing precision, speed, quality and reliability.Our sales associates work in unison with our product and design specialists and you, creating system layouts to facility specifications. Existing tooling may also be retrofitted and adjusted per end user requirements.
